WELCOME TO 88 PIANO STUDIO

My name is Laura Beck-Scannell. I have taught private piano lessons since 1990. I accept students 4 years of age and up, beginners through intermediate levels. I have had many years of experience as an accompanist for several school districts, soloists and community theater. I also have been church pianist for 40+ years.

Lessons are tailored to each students interests in classical, jazz, Christian, pop music genres.

I also offer lessons tailored to reading chord charts and improvising. This individualized approach makes lessons and practice more enjoyable for the students.

Lessons also involve music theory, which I try to teach in creative fun ways. My Students are given the opportunity to perform in 2 recitals a year.
